TRIBUTES

Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of the innocent victims involved in the recent attack on the city of Manchester. The fear instilled by such cowardice acts of others will never be forgotten, but can be overcome together. Global unity at this time is of more importance than ever. We wish you the upmost strength during this difficult period and a spirit that will never be broken by such evil. Manchester, despite the recent horrific acts, we will always remember you for your notable architecture, media links, social impact and rich culture.

Brussels is deemed by many as, “The Heart of Europe.”  When the heart of Europe was so irrationally desecrated, all our hearts broke.  After facing the deadliest terrorist attack in Belgium’s history, we recognize that Brussels will never be the same.  The entire world will watch your resilience and perseverance as you move from sorrow to reinstating your strength.

Martin Luther King opined, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”  We cry out with you and are all indeed affected by the horrific acts committed against our fellow citizens on that dreadful early morning in June.  We will never forget the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States and may we never experience such an unprecedented tragedy again.

To our friends in Paris, your wise countryman, Alexis de Toquelville once aptly said, “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.” As civilized humanity tries to understand how insidious acts such as this occur, we choose to focus on your strengths.  Paris is known as both, “the city of love and the city of lights” and we stand with you as both your love and lights shine brighter than ever.

Robert Kennedy once said, “The victims of the violence are black and white, rich and poor, young and old, famous and unknown. They are, most important of all, human beings whom other human beings loved and needed.” California community will never be the same again. We, as a nation will always remember the tragic school shooting that claimed the lives of innocent souls in San Bernardino, California.

COALITION TO SALUTE AMERICA'S HEROES

The mission of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes is to help severely-wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses, and to inspire other organizations and the general public to participate in this effort.

Through our programs of aid and assistance, the Coalition offers individual contributors, corporations and volunteers many ways to give so these veterans and their families receive what they need and deserve in return for the sacrifices they made for us.

INDEPENDENCE CORPS

Helping to restore injured American Veterans their Independence, freedom and dignity that comes with greater Mobility.

Suicide Intervention. Regardless of what's the precise statistic to quote, Suicides and Attempted Suicides among our veteran population must be addressed. Independence Corps has seen that helping veterans regain independence can help with feelings of wellbeing, but we want to work to be part of the solution to reduce veteran suicides and so we have begun a Spartan Weekend initiative!

Starting in 2016 we are providing veterans with a greater variety of high tech mobility devices like the Track Chair, and the Levo in addition to the iBOT® Mobility System invented by DEKA Research.  After providing 23 new iBOTS to veterans, our veterans helped DEKA Research obtain FDA reclassification of the stair climbing wheelchair as a Class 2 Medical Device and we have tirelessly to helped DEKA to develop a new generation iBOT Mobility System.

LEADSLINGERS

America was founded through the blood of hard-fighting, hard-drinking men. Men who believed in freedom and good booze who laid down their lives, forging the bedrock of this Republic, and in doing so, created a new species of man: the American. Americans conquered the western frontier. Men of piss and vinegar who tamed the wild, battled the elements, and established the first American saloons. It’s in this fine tradition that members of the veteran community present to you: Leadslingers’ Whiskey.

The Leadslingers’ Whiskey concept was forged in the winter of 2013, by the members of the ever popular Article 15 Clothing company. Building upon their deep dedication to bring unique products to the veteran and second amendment communities, the call to make a whiskey as bold as America was heard like an eagle’s scream.

This is a story about seizing opportunity when life throws it at you, while never forgetting where you came from. This is a story about men who pursue excellence. It’s about freedom. It’s about raising a glass to tradition, but also raising the bar of performance. This is the story of America, encapsulated in the story of seven men with a vision.

Leadslingers’ Whiskey is produced by seven combat veterans, from the US Army Rangers, USAF TACP, Special Forces, and Paratrooper communities. Their love for America and fine whiskey, is what the company is all about. They wanted to craft a whiskey that was enjoyable and unrepentantly supported the Second Amendment. By remaining active in their civilian and military communities, Leadslingers’ strives to set an example. Be proud of who you are. Be bold. No apologies.

And that is why Leadslingers’ name is devoted to the Second Amendment, and all Americans who exercise it. Like those who stood at Lexington and Concord as the British tried to seize their arms and said “no!”—you understand that freedom exists as long as you’re willing to defend it. Like the men who tamed the West, you understand that you and you alone are master of your faith. Pursue happiness, and terminate any who threaten your life or liberty. Leadslingers’ salutes you! America salutes you! Now pour a shot of boldness forged in the minds of battle hardened patriots and enjoy!
